This Level 5 Adult Care Diploma in Leadership & Management is the equivalent of a Foundation Degree and is the UK industry standard for managers working in the adult care sector. The Level 5 Diploma qualification is for leaders & managers in a range of adult care settings such as residential services for older people, and people with disabilities. Training covers decision making, safeguarding, leading and managing services, service improvement, governance & regulatory requirements. The total cost of the Level 5 Diploma is £1500. How Does Assessment Take Place?
Once we receive your first payment, you will be enrolled onto your course, assigned your tutor, and booked onto an induction. Throughout your course, your tutor will be there to guide you through the course material (via online meetings) and help you in anyway they can with your assessments. 80% of the course uses online learning, the remaining 20% uses Work Place Observation. This is when your tutor will observe you, working in a care setting, and ensure you are implementing your learning in order to perform care duties to a high standard. Please note, in order to pass this course you will need to be observed performing managerial-level tasks within a care setting.
Duration
The course is flexible and we encourage students to learn at their own pace. We stipulate that candidates complete the course within 12 months.
